The very popular torrent search engine TorrentSpy has been finally closed. It also integrated Digg-like user-driven content site ShoutWire’s feed into its front page. On August 8, 2007, there were 1,000,000 user submitted torrents indexed, and had over one million users. On average, there were 10,000 new torrents indexed every day.
